If you’ve linked your loan to SavvyFi but don’t see your employer’s contributions reflected yet, here’s what’s happening behind the scenes.
Your employer sends contributions to SavvyFi during the first week of each month. Once we receive them, we forward the funds to your loan servicer. From there, it’s up to the servicer to process and apply the payment to your account.
Each loan servicer works a little differently—some are quick and post payments within a few days, while others may take a week or more. That’s why you might not see the payment right away.
To check when the contribution hits your account, log in to your loan servicer’s website and review your payment history or monthly statement. That’ll give you a good sense of timing for future contributions too.
