Why do you need my student loan account number and payment address?

Created by Katherine Terrell, Modified on Fri, 31 Oct at 5:05 PM by Katherine Terrell

To make sure your employer contributions are applied to your student loans correctly, we need to confirm your account number and payment address. This helps us send electronic payments directly to your loan servicer without delays or errors.

If a payment is misdirected due to incorrect account details, it can take up to three months to be refunded—so accuracy really matters. Additionally, loan servicers often manage loans for multiple lenders, each with different payment addresses. Verifying the correct address ensures your contributions are delivered smoothly and on time.
